Improvement of Tutor Wallet, the payment system for teachers and financial reporting (Django + React)
Project Description:
There is an existing educational platform (marketplace, similar to Preply), developed on Django + React.
The platform already has wallets for students and teachers, transaction history, and basic financial logic.
It is required to implement and improve the functionality of payments to teachers, financial reporting, and management of payment requests.
Important:
Payments to teachers are made manually by the platform administration.
Stripe Connect and automatic payments are not used.
Main goal of the project:
Create a simple, reliable, and understandable system for accounting teachers' earnings and manual payments through the platform administrator.
It is necessary to implement:
Financial summary for the teacher
In the teacher's personal account display:
• available balance
• presence of an active payout request
• date of the last payout
• amount of the last payout
• total paid over time

Minimum payout amount:
5000 UAH
If the balance is less:
the system should display the message:
"The minimum payout amount is 5000 UAH"
Payout statuses
For each payout:
• Pending
• Paid
• Cancelled
Unique payout number
Each payout must receive a unique number.

The teacher should see:

In the teacher's profile:

• IBAN (optional)
The teacher can edit their data.

The administrator should see:
• all payout requests
• payout status
• request date
• amount
• teacher
Actions:
• View request
• Mark as paid
• Cancel request
Financial history of payouts
After the payout, it is necessary to save:
• payout number
• payout amount
• payout date
• administrator's comment
• balance before payout
• balance after payout

Part of the functionality may already exist in the project.
Before starting work, it is necessary to study the current implementation of Tutor Wallet and determine the scope of the missing functionality.
