It is necessary to research the topic of events held for children and adults in 20 cities of Ukraine.
And to compile in the form of tables all possible sources (Instagram pages, Facebook pages, websites of various institutions) where one can find fresh relevant information about events in a particular city.
List of cities:
- Kyiv
- Uzhhorod
- Lviv
- Ivano-Frankivsk
- Khmelnytskyi
- Chernivtsi
- Lutsk
- Rivne
- Zhytomyr
- Ternopil
- Odesa
- Cherkasy
- Chernihiv
- Sumy
- Kropyvnytskyi
- Poltava
- Kharkiv
- Dnipro
- Zaporizhzhia
What events are interesting? Master classes on anything (clay modeling, knitting, lectures on certain topics, culinary, dance, painting), various types of entertainment, concerts, performances, exhibitions, interesting events, excursions, cinemas, movie nights, interesting places in the city worth visiting, museums, lectures, meetings on certain topics, and any other events that develop, inspire, or entertain.
The result of the work should be information about the institutions that hold the events listed above, in a tabular format, a sample of which can be viewed at the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hgO9VjwCR0rDbLBT8R31JWMXtLk4uyXWViX1FBLNPYw/edit?usp=sharing. Information about the institutions should be divided into two parts: for adults and for children.
Key information about such institutions should include the Name of the institution that conducts the event and its link to Instagram. If the institution does not have Instagram, then indicate another source – Facebook or website. If there is Instagram, the column with the website does not need to be filled. ATTENTION! Instagram is a priority.
Also, these institutions should be sorted roughly as in the sample table, meaning when looking at the table, there should be an understanding of what kind of institution it is where a certain event takes place: shopping center, restaurant, concert hall, or something else...
How to search for these institutions? Imagine that you live in a certain city and you are interested in finding out what is happening in this city. The table I provided above suggests the order of search.
- Google what coworking spaces are in the city, visit their websites or Instagram, and see if they are holding anything interesting; very often, coworking spaces host interesting meetings for young people on various topics.
- Google all the large shopping centers in the city; some of them may also host exhibitions and other events.
- Google what youth and educational spaces are in the city where events are held.
- Search for all theaters, cinemas, concert halls.
- Search for restaurants where certain events take place, including culinary master classes, meetings, and concerts...
- Search for websites that provide information about planned events in the city.
- Also, enter search phrases in Google: where to go in Kyiv, master classes in Kyiv, and so on (in the case of researching the city of Kyiv).
- You can also try to search for groups on Telegram, such as "Where to go in Kyiv," "Children in the city of Kyiv," where you can also find information about events that took place in the past and which institution held them, specifically the institution that interests us in this case.
- Also, try searching on Instagram, for example, using phrases like "Events in Kyiv," "Where to go in Kyiv," "Master class Kyiv."
As a result of the completed work, there should be 20 separate tabs in the Google Docs table, meaning information about each city on a separate tab.
The order of work execution will be as follows: we agree on the budget with you, then we research one city to start, which will be a test task, and it will be paid as 1/20 of the initially agreed amount. If the work is done well, we will proceed to other cities.
