Creating is not a problem. The main hassle lies in verifying the gym's profile on Google Maps, as the address is American (for Ukrainian locations, for example, it is now much simpler than in 2022 - just one stage of verification via SMS code is enough).

Because the first verification of an American location via SMS code (or via a code from a call from the GMB robot) disappears/cancels itself after a few days, and the method of verification through a video recording of the gym's location is not checked by Google until I write to Google Maps support and request manual verification of the location by "live" Google representatives.

For manual moderation, scanned copies of the documents of the company that owns the gym will be needed, a photo of the gym's location with a sign on the door (at least a temporary cheap sign), and a scanned document based on which the company has the right to locate its gym at the address of the location (a commercial lease agreement or a document proving ownership of the house or apartment if the address is residential).

This is needed for correspondence with a Google Maps representative.

I will show examples of suitable documents, as I have successfully verified more than 5 locations in the USA.

After corresponding with Google Maps support, the option for verification via an online call through Google Meet with the gym owner's smartphone camera (or an authorized representative of the gym) will be enabled at the location.

During the online call, the Google representative will ask to show the gym's location from the street in relation to other nearby buildings, show the gym's entrance doors, show one of the pages of the company's registration document, and also show superficially what visitors see when entering the gym, starting from the entrance and reception, ending with the workout area, sports equipment, and changing room doors).

Few are lucky in the USA to pass the verification of a location on Google Maps without the need for a video call with a Google Maps support specialist.

I have confirmed and removed blocks on locations in Google My Business for American companies and successfully passed all stages when the business owner followed my instructions/warnings regarding photos and video calls, and I conducted correspondence with Google representatives independently on behalf of the client.

Businesses for GMB locations in the USA were provided to me by the agency Smart Provide Digital.
