Integration of ClickUp + Telegram
It is necessary to create a two-way integration between ClickUp and Telegram. We plan to implement ClickUp as the main tool for the Customer Support department. The support department will have a CRM with all clients, where they will record the stages of interaction with each client: incoming request, qualification, problem resolution, communication completed (in the form of kanban boards). See the screenshots attached to the project.
Each individual task represents one client, who may go through all the aforementioned stages multiple times. In the "client card" (in the task card), there is all the information about them + on the right side, there is an Activity space where all actions related to this task (for this client) are logged.
Currently, all communication with clients takes place in group chats on Telegram, where the work accounts of support staff are added. However, ClickUp has Chats (see screenshots), where employees (everyone added to ClickUp) can communicate on specific topics.
The idea for implementation is as follows: a chat is created in ClickUp for each client. All information (text messages, pictures, videos, audio) that the client sends to the Telegram group is duplicated in the ClickUp chat; and vice versa: all responses from employees in the ClickUp chat are duplicated in the Telegram group, like regular correspondence. A bot is added to the Telegram group, which manages all of this. The distribution is done by ClientID (a unique ID for each client): the chat in ClickUp and the Telegram group are named after the client ID or contain the client ID in their name. Example of a client ID: IO393MN.
What implementation paths do you see for this? Is it possible to implement it using ClickUp API capabilities? If so, what are the costs and timelines? If not, can we abandon group chats and rely solely on a Telegram bot that will transfer correspondence with it to ClickUp chats and back? I am open to suggestions and long-term collaboration. This request is not a one-time thing; there is still a lot to be done in ClickUp.
