I am looking for a CAD designer to create a 2D project of a desk lamp for laser cutting from 3mm thick plywood.
21 USD Scope of work:
- Create a NEW design for a desk lamp, inspired by the attached photo
(NOT a copy - different design, different proportions, different shapes)
- The project consists of: a base with a compartment for batteries, a movable
arm/leverage (adjustable height and angle), a lampshade
- Prepare a vector file in DXF format
- Optimize the layout of parts on A4 sheets (210x297mm)
- The project should be assembled without glue (dovetail/lock system)
Technical requirements:
- Compartment in the base for a battery holder (for example, 2xAA or 3xAAA)
- Mounting place for a small LED bulb in the lampshade
- Hole for a switch button in the base
Approximate dimensions (according to the photo):
- Height when unfolded: ~290mm
- Base size: ~135x110mm
- All elements made of 3mm plywood
What I expect to receive:
- Ready DXF/SVG files for laser cutting with layout on A4
- List of all parts with quantities (BOM)
- 3D visualization or render (optional, but will be a plus)
Important - a DIFFERENT design is needed:
- Different shape of the base and lampshade
- Different folding/adjusting mechanism for the arm
- Different proportions of elements
- Decorative cutouts can be added
- Overall concept is similar, but visually different
