Выбор был сделан из-за того, что на сайте необходимо реализовать 2 типа пользователей, один из которых будет делится на подкатегории. Пользователи должны иметь разные права и т.д. На icms все это предусмотрено по дефолту, также она быстрая и имеет много бесплатных дополнений, которые также могут быть использованы для разработки сайта.
