Junior Project Manager for SEO Agency

Summary

Role: Junior Project Manager (Entry-Level)           
Type: Part-time / Freelance / Remote           
Reports to: Project Lead or SEO Manager           
Overview           
We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support our digital marketing and SEO projects. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone organized, proactive, and great at communication. No prior experience is required - just strong note-taking skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to ensure everyone knows their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities 
Attend weekly project meetings and take clear, organized meeting notes. 
Follow up with team members to ensure deadlines and deliverables are being met.  Maintain an updated task tracker and flag any delays or missing updates. Communicate with the team daily to confirm who's responsible for what and update project progress. 
Assist in preparing project summaries and status updates for management. Support the project lead in onboarding new clients and organizing related documents.  Summarize action items and assign tasks to the correct team members in Notion (or other project tools).

Requirements

Excellent note-taking and organization skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.  

Comfortable following up with team members and ensuring accountability.

Basic understanding of task management tools (Notion, ClickUp, Asana, or similar). 
Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities.     

Nice to Have (but Not Required)

Experience in digital marketing, SEO, or administrative coordination.

Familiarity with automation tools or AI productivity systems.   

Success in this role looks like      
Tasks from meetings are clearly documented and assigned.  Ensure n   o team member is unclear about their responsibilities or due dates.  Provide   weekly progress summaries are accurate and on time.     The project lead maintains a smooth, organized workflow across all active projects.
