The company is looking for an experienced Magento 2 developer - architect.

Main responsibilities:

Development and customization of modules:

Creation of new modules and extensions for Magento according to project requirements.

Customization of existing modules to add or change functionality.

Integration with external systems:

Development and implementation of integrations with external APIs (REST, SOAP) and third-party services (payment systems, ERP, CRM, and others).

Ensuring reliable and secure data transfer between Magento and external systems.

Performance optimization:

Optimization of the server side of the site to improve loading speed and data processing.

Working with caching (Redis, Varnish) and data indexing to enhance performance.

Database management:

Design, configuration, and optimization of databases (MySQL).

Development of complex SQL queries and procedures to ensure efficient data handling.

Ensuring security:

Implementation and support of security practices to protect user data and business logic.

Conducting regular security audits and addressing vulnerabilities.

Support and maintenance:

Ensuring the smooth operation of Magento-based sites.

Quick response to emerging issues and their resolution.

Regular updates and support of the system to comply with the latest versions and security patches.

Additional responsibilities:

Documentation and testing:

Writing technical documentation for developed solutions and modules.

Development and execution of unit tests, integration tests, and other types of testing to ensure code quality.

Participation in architecture design:

Making suggestions for improving the architecture and structure of the project.

Participating in the design of new functionalities and modules.

Teamwork:

Collaboration with frontend developers, designers, project managers, and other team members.

Participation in task planning and estimation, conducting code reviews for colleagues.

Participation in DevOps processes:

Involvement in setting up and supporting CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes.

Collaboration with DevOps engineers for automating deployment and testing.

Monitoring and analysis:

Monitoring system performance and status.

Analyzing logs and reports to identify and resolve bottlenecks and potential issues.

Examples of tasks:

Creating a module for integration with a new payment system.

Optimizing site performance, including working with caching and indexing.

Developing an API for a mobile application that works with Magento.

Data migration from an old system to Magento.

Setting up automatic backups and system recovery processes.
