There are no "white" methods - unless you ask Google itself or the owners of the review service to delete the info. All promotion/removal methods (such as links, for example) are gray methods. "Gray" methods are not synonymous with unsafe, but are quite legal and are not punished by law (since there is no need to interfere with the operation of the computer).
