The main focus is on the development, scaling, and maintenance of high-load systems using EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service). Expectations from the candidate: Deep knowledge and experience with EKS: setting up Kubernetes clusters, managing containerized applications, monitoring, and ensuring high availability. Experience with other AWS services such as: EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53; Lambda, API Gateway (preferably). Skills in setting up CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or others). Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi). Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch). Practice in automating processes and ensuring high performance and security. Additionally desirable: Consideration of alternative orchestration approaches (e.g., Fargate or ECS, if applicable). Experience in cost optimization in AWS.
