Control electronic control panel
TECHNICAL TASK
CONTROL PANEL SIGNATURE UNIT (v1.0)
1. Purpose of the product
Design an embedded premium control panel for the unit that:
• intuitively controls:
• lighting
• climate
• sound
• atmospheric scenarios
• fire (pellet stove)
• has a minimum number of controls
• looks like a luxury tactile object, not a technical panel
2. Product architecture
The panel consists of 3 levels:
2.1. Technical base
• internal mounting plate (recommended aluminum 3 mm)
• all electrical components
• controllers / relays / terminals
• service access
• quick-connect connections for sound + light + climate, thus 3-4 quick-connects
2.2. User interface
• knobs (rotary controls)
• toggles
• scenario buttons
• 3 analog indicators
2.3. Finish faceplate
• material: brass (2 mm)
• CNC / laser cut
• engraving
• installed after assembling the technical part
3. Functional blocks
3.1. Light
Channel 1 — internal lighting
• 1 dimmer
• smooth adjustment
• load: up to 500 W
Channel 2 — external lighting
• 1 dimmer
• smooth adjustment
• load: up to 500 W
Automatic logic (external light)
• does not turn on in daylight (light sensor)
• operates in the evening
• automatically turns off after 00:00 / 01:00 / 02:00
• manual dimmer = correction
3.2. Climate
Interface
• 1 knob (rotary)
• digital display
• no modes for the user
Labeling:
divisions
Logic
The system controls only:
• air conditioner (main control)
• does not program the pellet stove
Algorithm
setpoint > room temp → heating demand
setpoint < room temp → cooling demand
Heating demand:
• air conditioner can operate in heating mode (if allowed)
• or does not operate (if the stove is active)
Cooling demand:
• air conditioner ON
• pellet stove OFF / blocked
Restrictions
never:
stove + air conditioner (Cool) simultaneously
Additionally
• hysteresis 0.5–1°C
• delay in turning on (anti-frequent switching)
3.3. Pellet stove (FIRE)
Status
• has its own built-in controller
• has its own weekly timer
• operates autonomously
Integration into the panel
Mandatory:
• separate toggle:
FIRE
Toggle function
ON → allow / start the stove in manual mode
OFF → turn off / prohibit
Important
• the panel does NOT duplicate:
• weekly programming
• power modes
• stove menu
Priorities
FIRE ON → prohibit cooling
Additionally
window sensor, if the window is open - prohibit Cooling
3.4. Sound
• 1 knob (volume)
• press function = mute
• source: Bluetooth / predefined scenes
3.5. Scenarios
3 buttons:
ROMANTIC
SPA
LOUNGE
Each scenario activates:
• light (preset)
• brightness level
• music channel youtube / source
UX logic
• knobs = correction
• scenario does not “break” from rotation
3.6. Analog indicators
Mandatory:
• temperature (room)
• humidity
Optional:
• CO2 (if there is an aesthetic solution)
4. Electrical part
4.1. Dimmers
Required:
• 2 independent channels
• each up to ~500W
• compatibility with LED (no flickering)
• power reserve (20–30%)
4.2. Climate
Need to determine:
• type of air conditioner control:
• dry contact / IR / other
• temperature sensors
• basic controller logic
4.3. FIRE
• stove activation interface:
• dry contact / external enable (depending on the stove model)
4.4. Automation
• light sensor (lux)
• timer (night mode)
• basic scenario logic
5. Design
5.1. Base
• aluminum mounting plate
• threaded inserts
• rigid geometry
5.2. Mounting
• remote stands
• service access
• disassembly without damage
5.3. Faceplate
• brass 2–3 mm
• precise holes
• engraving
6. Design
Style
• yacht / boutique / aviation
• warm premium
• without “smart home with tablet”
Materials
• brass
• walnut (optional)
• black scales
Tactility
• knobs with resistance
• toggles with a clear click
• premium buttons
7. UX principles
minimum controls
maximum sensation
no instructions
8. What the engineer must deliver
8.1. Architecture
• module diagram
• component placement
8.2. Electrical diagram
• power supply
• dimmers
• climate
• FIRE
• scenarios
8.3. Logic
• climate
• priorities
• conflict blocking
8.4. Drawings
• dimensions
• holes
• mounting
8.5. BOM
• all components with models from ALIBABA
