How to Care for Your Terra & Timber Pottery 🌿
Thank you for bringing our handcrafted pottery into your home! This piece was fired at 1000°C (1832°F) and treated with a traditional milk-firing technique. This natural process seals the clay and makes it eco-friendly.
🔥 Cooking & Heating:
Heat Gradually: Always place your clay pot in a cold oven, then turn the heat on. Let the pot and the oven heat up together.
No Sudden Changes: Never put a cold pot into a preheated oven. Never place a hot pot on a cold countertop.
Oven Use Only: Do not use on an open flame or electric stovetops.
🧼 Cleaning & Washing:
Hand Wash Only: Avoid the dishwasher. Wash with warm water and a soft sponge.
Drying: Natural clay dries quickly. Air dry it or use a dark-colored towel (natural milk finish might leave slight marks on white towels).
🏺 Storage:
Let It Breathe: Store your roasters without the lid on in a dry, well-ventilated place.
