We are looking for a talented Reels video editor for long-term work with the Instagram project of stylist marymalkolife.
The account is English-speaking. The theme is fashion, styling, lifestyle, personal brand.The account already has Reels with hundreds of thousands and millions of views. We are currently building a new content production system and are looking for an editor with whom we can work constantly and for a long time.
The planned volume is +/-30 Reels per month.
What is important to usWe are looking for not just someone who can technically cut videos.We need an editor who understands the mechanics of modern Instagram Reels and feels: the first 1–3 seconds of the video; hook and attention retention; dynamics and rhythm; jump cuts; visual intrigue; working with text and typography; neat animation; music and sound design; the aesthetics of fashion / luxury / lifestyle content.It is important to us that the editing looks modern, aesthetic, and expensive, without overloaded effects and random transitions.Experience working with fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, or personal brand Reels will be a significant advantage.
Work formatWe provide: the script and idea for the Reel; filmed source videos; detailed technical assignment; timing and structure of the video; texts, brand names, and other necessary information; references and access to the Instagram project for understanding the visual direction.We expect the editor to have not just mechanical execution of the task, but a feel for the video.If you see that a certain shot, rhythm, transition, animation, or other editing solution can make the Reel stronger — we are open to professional suggestions and your ideas.
BudgetOur current budget at this stage of the project is $20–30 per Reel depending on the complexity of the editing.We plan a constant volume of +/-30 Reels per month.Right now, we are looking for an editor with whom we can establish stable long-term work. As the project develops, we are open to revising the cost and terms of cooperation.At the same time, we want to honestly outline the current capabilities of the project: at the start, it is important for us to work within the specified budget range.

Paid test assignmentFrom the candidates who respond, we will select several finalists based on their portfolios.
Finalists will be offered a paid test assignment.
All selected candidates will receive the same source materials and the same technical assignment.
Google Drive with materials for the test assignment:(We provide all raw sources, a detailed technical assignment, and references. The materials are located in Google Drive and will be sent only to selected candidates after confirming participation in the paid test assignment.)
The task is to edit one Instagram Reel based on the provided sources and technical assignment.We will compare the finished versions and choose an editor for further ongoing collaboration.
The test work is paid to each candidate we have preliminarily selected and officially invited to complete the test.
Please do not start working on the test assignment independently until we confirm.
