Вообще-то, оператор нужен только для съемки, для монтажа нужен режиссёр монтажа или хотя бы монтажёр.
Я когда-то преподавал монтаж и мне поручили группу операторов. Я им дал коварное задание: снять и смонтировать. Снять-то они кое-как сняли, а смонтировать прилично не смогли. Мозги тут нужны разные ? .
