Training from scratch, fully remote. Part-time work is possible.
Good day to everyone!
I am looking for a video editor, more specifically, a reaction editor using the game Gacha Club.
Let me note right away, you need to have watched many titles and have knowledge of fandoms, so anime fans, this is the best job for you (plus it's remote)!
I would also like to emphasize - this is a creative job, a high level of empathy is required (so you can immerse yourself in the character's role) as well as patience. You will need a lot of it during the initial training period.
If you haven't watched anime or have only seen a couple of top titles, please do not apply!
I prefer young people aged 16 and older.
To understand what kind of videos you will be making, you can check the content on our channels
I cannot attach links, just search for "gacha react to" on YouTube to see video examples
Now more details about the job:
We create reaction videos - characters from popular anime react to something. The videos are made using the game "Gacha Club" - this game allows you to modify the movements, poses, and emotions of the characters. Then a sequence of screenshots is made and edited into a video, subtitles are added.
The process is simple (which of course has a lot of nuances), but not quick.
One 10-minute video takes about 3 hours to make (at first it will take about 4-5, but as your experience grows, the time will decrease)
The videos are intended for an audience aged 10-16 years.
I want to emphasize that for this content, you do not need to be proficient in Photoshop, Premiere, or any other complex editing programs, and you do not need to state your experience in video editing, as it is secondary for this job.
Most of our editors make videos using their phones (or PCs), editing is simply a sequence of screenshots that change at the right moment to display the character's emotion.
The skill required for this job is a developed creative skill, right at 500% + the ability to understand the lore of various anime, comprehend character traits, and grasp key events and character histories to accurately reflect their reactions. I also value experience in role-playing games.
The second point.
Often, TikToks or videos that the characters will react to will be very monotonous. You will still need to come up with lines for the characters and adjust their emotions even for such TikToks, which is quite challenging.
I must say right away, the job is VERY specific. If you think the job will consist of simply randomly assigning emotions to characters in videos and writing default lines "just to write something" - you will be out in the first week of the probation period.
We make reactions in English. Knowledge of English is not necessary if you can use translators through ChatGPT.
The third point, before applying for the position, ask yourself the following questions
- Am I ready to diligently learn during the probation period and dedicate at least a week to it?
- Do I understand that this is a FULL-TIME job, not a side gig, and that tasks will be assigned with strict adherence to deadlines?
- Will this fit with my study schedule/second job?
Employment options:
Part-time workload (3-4 hours a day) - 5 videos a week. Payment - 12,000 hryvnias/month net + bonuses + premiums
Full-time workload - 6-8 hours a day (2 videos a day), work schedule 5/2 payment 24,000 hryvnias/month net + bonuses + premiums
You choose your days off, you can spread them out as you like throughout the week.
Be prepared to complete a paid test task. Be ready to learn; it will take some time before you understand all the nuances of reactions, but don't worry, you will be trained in everything.
