About the project
I have an existing glass restoration business (removing scratches, acid vandalism, etc.).
Currently, we are actively entering ENGLISH-speaking social networks to:
- sell online courses for this profession,
- sell supplies and tools,
- make the profession more recognizable and "viral" on the internet. (I also need help with creativity, we are looking for a strategy as well.)
I need a video editor for short vertical videos who will create clips for Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts based on stock footage.
If the work goes well, there is potential to get involved in my other projects.
What needs to be done
- Edit vertical videos 9:16 (TikTok / Reels / Shorts).
- Duration: on average up to 60 seconds.
- We are currently working in CapCut (mobile or desktop) — you need to have the program, I do not provide access/account.
- Assemble videos from the sources I provide:
- videos from objects,
- photos,
- voiceover (I want to use 11 labs. Or we need to decide that only a real voice is needed),
- references. I like udetailers on Instagram.
Approximate formats (3–5 main ones):
- Before/After (before/after glass restoration)
- 20–40 seconds,
- strong hook in the first 3 seconds,
- shots of the problem (scratches, acid vandalism),
- accelerated process,
- beautiful result.
- Mini-lessons / error analysis
- 30–60 seconds,
- "beginner's mistake → correct action",
- simple, clear structure.
- Satisfying process videos
- 15–30 seconds,
- minimum text, maximum beautiful work,
- pleasant sound/visual.
- Personal brand / conversational videos
- I explain something on camera,
- need to cut pauses, garbage, create dynamics.
(We can refine the formats together — but the logic is approximately like this.)
Technical requirements for the videos
- Format: vertical 9:16.
- Resolution: no lower than 1080×1920.
- Duration: up to 60 seconds (specifically according to the terms of reference for each video).
- Editing:
- neat cuts,
- clear rhythm,
- strong first 3–5 seconds.
- Text/subtitles:
- large, readable font,
- not too close to the edges of the screen,
- without spelling mistakes.
- Sound:
- clear voice, without harsh noise,
- music does not overpower the voice,
- without sharp volume jumps.
- Export: .mp4, H.264 (standard export from CapCut).
How the work will be structured
- I provide:
- sources (video/photos) — Google Drive / Telegram,
- short text or voice,
- references (examples of style and formats),
- priorities by topics (what is important to focus on now).
- You:
- assemble the video according to the terms of reference,
- send a draft,
- make corrections based on comments,
- submit the final version "ready for publication".
The volume will be discussed separately (test batch + then regular flow).
Requirements for you
- Experience in editing vertical short videos (TikTok / Reels / Shorts).
- Sense of rhythm and understanding of what a "hook" is in the first seconds.
- Attention to detail regarding sound, color, text.
- Ability to work according to the terms of reference, not "as it turns out".
- Basic understanding of the English language.
It would be a plus if:
- you actively watch and understand trends in formats on TikTok / Reels / Shorts.
