Named Entity Recognition (NER) using Transformers
Need to try several public models (2-4), train them, and choose the best one.
Jupyter Notebook attached.
Criteria:
send a link to Google Colab/Kaggle with the solution (with saved cell outputs);
evaluate 2-4 models and write down the metrics obtained for them;
select optimizer/lr-scheduler parameters that would speed up model convergence;
the result of the work - the notebook should contain the entire model training pipeline with comments and highlight the best model.
Notes:
Transformers are quite heavy models and may take a long time to train, please choose small or regular versions of popular architectures.
The code may crash with a CUDA OUT OF MEMORY ERROR - reduce the batch size.
