Task:
It is necessary to create a script for the automatic transfer of data from Google Sheets to the Finmap software environment via API.
Description:
- Output data:
- The input data is located in Google Sheets (1 page).
- The data includes 3 fields.
- Target system:
- Finmap — is software for managing business finances. The Finmap API allows for the automatic transfer of financial data into the system for processing and analysis.
- Functional requirements:
- The script must retrieve data from specified cells in Google Sheets.
- Then this data needs to be transformed into a format compatible with the Finmap API (for example, JSON).
- The script must perform data transfer via the Finmap API, taking into account authentication requirements and request structure.
- After successful data transfer, the script should mark the rows in Google Sheets that have already been transferred to avoid duplication.
- Technical details:
- Authentication: Use of API keys or another authentication method provided by Finmap.
- Execution frequency: The script should run automatically once a day (possibly via Google Apps Script or a cron job). For example, at 06:00 the data should be sent for the previous day (daily)
- Errors: In case of a failed data transfer, the script should generate an error message and log it in a separate log or send it via email.
