Долго грузится и долго генерируется - это радикально разные вещи.
В первом может быть виновато узкое место где-то в интернет канале между вами и сервером. Например ваш домашний/мобильный интернет в сочетании с большим количеством несжатых фоток на странице.
Второе же - тяжелая cms в сочетании с медленным сервером. Можно и нужно конечно облегчить жизнь серверу - меньше скриптов, больше памяти, кэширование, redis тот же. Однако если на вашей новой vps.ua процессор лишь 2.2ггц (спросил у их поддержки), то ну никак он не будет шустро работать как ни старайся. На Ukraine хостинге просто быстрей железо видимо, вот и вся проблема скорей всего.
Хотя смотрю главная генерируется 500+мс, что тоже довольно медленно (хоть и на голову выше 7сек на vps'ке)
Смотрю вот своих клиентов сайты на opencart - не выше 150мс время генерации. Но конечно сильно зависит от самого сайта.
Обращайтесь, посмотрим, сделаем также. -
