Виктор Шаблон это описание товара например "Лампочка /brand/ для цоколя /sku/ и далее описание товара. в котором снова могут использоваться /переменная/" потом при выводе товара на сайте описание должно быть из шаблона с заменной соответствующих переменных из полей в базе данных "Лампочка Искра для цоколя Е22.."

есть же модули генераторы описаний сео описаний там можно по шаблону прописать всемтоварам и категориям так вот как выхотите с указанием переменных. зачем писать модуль?

Добавил шаблоны, привязал к категориям. И генерация происходит не посредственно во время загрузки страницы то есть на лету.
