OCR AI Tool Developer for Invoice Data Extraction

Description:

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to develop an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) AI tool specifically designed for extracting key data elements from invoices, receipts, bills, and tickets. The primary focus will be on accurately capturing information such as brutto amount, net amount, VAT amount, bill number, and company data of the issuer from images, PDFs, and various formats.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement an OCR AI system, by adapting existing AI solutions to recognize and extract specific data points from invoices and receipts.

2. Train the OCR model on diverse datasets to ensure adaptability to different fonts, layouts, and styles commonly found in invoices.

3. Develop functionality to extract and organize data, including brutto amount, net amount, VAT amount, bill number, and issuer's company details.

4. Integrate the OCR tool with Excel to export the extracted data in a structured format.

5. Implement a feature to refill the extracted data into another webform, form on website or spreadsheet, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.

6. Fine-tune the OCR model to improve accuracy and performance over time, considering variations in invoice formats and languages.

7. Provide documentation and user guidelines for the deployed OCR AI tool.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in developing OCR solutions, particularly for invoice data extraction.

2. Strong proficiency in machine learning, computer vision, and relevant programming languages

3. Familiarity with OCR libraries and frameworks.

4. Ability to handle diverse document layouts and formats for optimal extraction accuracy.

5. Experience in integrating OCR tools with Excel and webforms.
