Make sure you have a registered app in the Meta Developer Portal. You need to create an app, choose the type "Instagram Basic Display" or "Instagram Graph" (for business accounts).
For Basic Display API, you need to go through authorization via Instagram to get a token. Meta's documentation has a step-by-step guide: you need to create a test app, authorize it through your Instagram account, and obtain a temporary token (which can be exchanged for a long-term one, valid for up to 60 days).
If it's a business account, use the Graph API. For this, linking Instagram to a Facebook page is required, and the token is generated through Facebook Login or Graph API Explorer.
If there are issues with access or errors (for example, "Invalid scope" or "Access denied"), check the app settings (permissions) and ensure your account meets the requirements (personal or business).
