Task:
Import my model in
.skp(SketchUp) format into Blender.Merge all parts of the model into one mesh (one object).
Optimize the model — reduce polygon count while maintaining quality.
Bake textures: color, normals, shadows (ambient occlusion), and others as needed.
Prepare textures in JPG or PNG formats with minimal size and good quality.
Export the model in glTF format, ready for website use.
Provide the source
.blendfile for further modifications.
Goal:
Obtain a lightweight and high-quality 3D model with textures that can be easily uploaded to a website.
Result requirements:
One merged mesh (one object).
Baked textures with good quality and minimal size.
Correct operation of the glTF format file.
Output
.blendfile with textures and model.
Important:
There will be five models in total, but initially work needs to be done on one. If everything goes well — we will continue cooperation on the next models.
