OSINT Project - Cookies research

Role Overview:

We're seeking a Cookie Data Extraction Specialist to develop and implement sophisticated methods for extracting, analyzing, and utilizing cookie data for our OSINT platform. This role will focus on expanding our data collection capabilities to include browser cookies and similar tracking mechanisms for academic research purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Python-based systems for extracting cookies from various browsers and platforms

• Develop decryption algorithms for encrypted cookie data

• Create classification systems to categorize and prioritize extracted cookie information

• Integrate cookie extraction processes with our existing OSINT data pipeline

• Build visualization tools to represent relationships between cookie data and other OSINT sources

• Develop documentation and training materials for internal teams

• Research emerging cookie technologies and adapt extraction methodologies accordingly

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Python programming skills with 3+ years of experience

• Demonstrated experience with browser automation (Selenium, Playwright)

• Proficiency with data encryption/decryption techniques

• Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and web technologies

• Experience with SQLite and database management

• Knowledge of browser storage mechanisms and security models

• Background in OSINT or cyber intelligence research (preferred)

Technical Skills:

• Python libraries: Requests, Selenium, browser_cookie3, pycryptodome

• Web technologies: HTTP/HTTPS, JavaScript, DOM

• Data processing: Pandas, NumPy

• Database: Postgresql, SQLite, MongoDB

• Security: Encryption algorithms, cookie security models
