Сама структура CMS'ки понятна, хорошо отображена, такую можно довольно быстро на PHP реализовать. Но, вот, node.js смущает (node.js — это же серверная сторона, что на фронте?), API уже написан?

Т.е. у Вас бек написан на ноде, и фронт там на реакте например. Это работает и функционирует? Или у Вас куплен какой-то скрипт, а Вы хотите его улучшить?
