I bought an old house in a village for a low price, and now it is undergoing renovation and partial reconstruction.
The task is not to do an expensive designer renovation, but to organize the space as intelligently and conveniently as possible with a minimal budget.
I am looking for not a "designer for beautiful pictures," but a person who can think about layout, ergonomics, and real life.
Object:
🏡 An old house in a village, currently being remodeled
📐 Total area ~80 m²
🔧 ~20 m² — workshop (not included in the task)
🛋 ~60 m² — living area (main work)
What is already available:
- part of the renovation is already done
- part of the furniture is already purchased
- some solutions will remain as they are (at the request of the parents)
- mistakes have been made (outlets, distances, placement of appliances)
What is needed:
The main goal is to create a clear map of the house and improve the organization of space where possible.
In the end, I want to receive:
• 2D plan with furniture arrangement
• if possible, a simple 3D (without fanaticism)
• to clearly understand where everything is placed
Additionally:
• suggestions for optimizing space
• where to save space
• how to better organize zones
• basic recommendations on ergonomics (distances, mistakes, critical/non-critical)
Focus on rooms:
🚿 Main focus — bathroom
🛏 Additionally — 2 rooms
🍽 Kitchen — minimal, just logic
Important:
❌ no expensive design needed
❌ no complex visualizations needed
❌ no selection of premium materials needed
✅ simplicity is needed
✅ logic
✅ convenience
✅ practicality
How we will work:
I provide photos / videos / dimensions
You suggest options
Then we discuss and adjust
From the candidate:
Please write:
• examples of work (preferably layouts, not just visuals)
• experience in real renovations
• how you usually work
Goal:
• to see the overall picture
• to make the right decisions now
• to avoid redoing later
