Почему "факт" интересной. Из коробки в опенкарте как минимум индексы даже проставлены не везде, где необходимы.
Потом сайт наполняется модулями, которые делают различные запросы, а тут уже проблема медленных запросов возникает.
Правильно настроенный сайт на Opencart, будет летать со скоростью света на дешёвом тарифном плане нормального хостинга.
