Budget: 5000 UAH Deadline: 10 days
Creating a point is not a problem. I can do it, but it’s better if a company representative does it: go to business.google.com, click "Add a business," "Add a single business," enter the name Family Market, select the main activity "Clothing store" from the category list, click "Next," "Yes," "Next," fill in the address, "Next," "None of the options," "Next," "No," "Next," enter the phone number for receiving calls from customers, "Next." After that, you need to choose verification by call or SMS to verify the point with a code sent by the robot. Confirm. Wait 2 days: if such verification does not disappear and Google My Business does not require other verification methods, then you are lucky.
Verification of the point by code from a call usually "fails" after a couple of days, and GMB requires verification by another method. Then it’s time for manual verification of the point on Google Maps, which takes from 10 to 21 days (the duration depends on how quickly you prepare scanned copies of company documents, a video recording, and photos of the store’s location).
You provide access to the point (or tell me to create it), and I handle all correspondence with Google representatives and prepare the company’s representative for the video meeting with Google, as well as check and comment on the photos of the store’s location and company documents.
For over a year, verification in Google My Business for Ukrainian points has become as complicated as for foreign ones. Manual verification on Google Maps requires a video recording of the store’s location, photos of the store’s location, signage on the store’s entrance, and a phone call between the owner and a Google representative.
After the code verification disappears, you initially upload a video of the store’s location to the point as confirmation. No one checks it — it will hang for weeks without verification. That means I will have to request manual verification from Google representatives 5-7 days after uploading the video. I send the request and communicate with GMB representatives via Gmail.
During correspondence, Google representatives ask to send photos of the store’s location and scans of documents confirming the right to operate the store at the address registered for the GMB point (for example, lease agreement, ownership document, etc.), as well as scans of one of the company’s registration documents. Only after this do Google representatives enable verification via video call with a GMB special department representative.
