Issue:
Virus redirecting to third-party resources.
To elaborate, it's not just a redirect, there is a certain logic: it never redirects the admin, it redirects the regular user only once every few days (assuming until the IP address changes and some time passes)
Actions taken (did not solve the problem):
Updated WP itself + all plugins.
Scanned with the antivirus on the hosting (found nothing).
Searched in all files for the query "eval(" - found nothing suspicious.
Checked the database for any hidden users.
PHP function is normal (both in the child theme and the parent theme)
Suspicion:
That someone gained unauthorized access even before updating WP and plugins, and uploaded their script (or several scripts)
But this is solely my suspicion.
Important:
In the screenshot, it can be seen that one plugin "Wordfence Security" is disabled, although I installed it literally 2-3 days ago and neither I nor the site owner disabled it.
Task:
Find and neutralize the malicious code, as well as find the "loophole" through which it appeared and "patch" it.
Write a report on the work done (what and where was corrected in the code, specify the exact path and lines where changes were made)
Request:
