When submitting the form, the server periodically returns an error:
message Failure sending mail. - Fix: Try a different SMTP server : https://my.smtphosting.com/aff.php?aff=7
Consequently, emails do not always arrive.
It may be necessary to use a correct SecureToken from https://smtpjs.com/
or try sending the form via PHP/Node.js/Python and use SMTP directly from the server
I am interested in guaranteed delivery to email + saving requests.
To do this, you need to change elastic mail to another one
Use:
- Amazon SES
- SendGrid
- Postmark
Use the wp mail SMTP plugin
To save all requests, there are 2 options
1. Use a ready-made plugin
- If you have Contact Form 7 - install the Flamingo plugin - it automatically saves all submitted forms in the WordPress database (section "Incoming Messages").
- If WPForms - in the paid version there is "Entries".
- If Gravity Forms - entries are saved by default.
2. Custom
- Add to the form processing functions a record in your MySQL table or in a custom post type ("requests").
- You can add export to CSV directly from the admin panel or automatic synchronization to Google Sheets via API.
This will work like this:
- The user fills out the form.
- The data is immediately written to the WordPress database.
- At the same time, sending to email goes through a stable service (SendGrid/Postmark/Amazon SES).
- If SMTP fails - the error is visible in the logs, but the requests remain in the database, and you can view/export them.

- Якщо SMTP відвалився - у логах видно помилку, але заявки залишаються у базі, і ви можете їх подивитися/експортувати.
