When applying the coupon, everything works fine: the discount is applied, the order is created.
The coupon expires immediately after going to the online payment page, even if the payment itself has not yet gone through.
If the customer returns back to the checkout (for example, due to an error or cancellation of payment), they can no longer reapply the same coupon — a message appears saying "coupon code applied".
According to logic, the coupon should "expire" only after successful payment.
2. Current behavior
The coupon is considered used already at the checkout stage, although the order has not yet been paid.
After re-entering the site, the coupon can be applied again — which means the problem lies in the session/order status when returning to the checkout.
3. Needs to be fixed
So that the coupon is reserved at checkout but is finally deducted only after successful payment.
When the customer returns to the checkout (if the order is not paid), the coupon should again be available for use.
