Project Title: Development of 3D Animation and Character Creation from Scratch for the Website (Preloader / Splash Screen)
1. Product Description and Task
It is necessary to develop two 3D characters from scratch, set up rigging, and create a short, dynamic 3D animation on a transparent background for integration into the website.
IMPORTANT: There are no ready-made models. The project includes the full cycle: from creating the concept and 3D modeling of the characters to the final web-optimized animation.
2. Characters (Development from Scratch):
The performer is required to propose concepts and visualization options for the following characters:
Character 1 (Wolf Cub Caesar): A small, cute, charismatic wolf cub dressed in a white Roman toga and a slightly tilted golden laurel wreath. Should evoke sympathy and a smile.
Character 2 (Doctor-Magician): A charismatic, kind dentist in a stylish medical coat and cap, associated with magic and painless treatment.
3. Technical Parameters of the Animation:
Duration: Strictly from 7 to 10 seconds maximum (critical for website loading speed).
Background: 100% transparent (Alpha channel).
Output Formats: Highly optimized for web WebM and MP4 (with alpha channel).
Responsiveness: The entire key composition must be strictly centered in the frame so that when displayed vertically on smartphones, the characters and essence of the animation are not cut off.
4. Goal and Target Audience:
The animation will be used as a preloader (loading screen) on the homepage of a dental clinic in Italy. The product is aimed at regular patients (adults and parents with children). The task is to eliminate the fear of treatment, show technological advancement, and evoke trust.
5. Second-by-Second Animation Script:
0:00 – 0:03 | Pain and Searching on the Map: In the center of the screen on a stylized 3D map of Italy stands Wolf Cub Caesar, holding his cheek. In one hand, he holds his fallen fang. When he opens his mouth, it is visible that the other teeth are darkened (sick), and the second fang is completely black. The wolf cub quickly opens his smartphone, and addresses of clinics flash around him on the map with stars. The nearest one shines the brightest. The wolf cub takes a step, and a dental chair materializes in front of him from that point.
0:03 – 0:05 | Meeting: The wolf cub sits in the chair, and Doctor-Magician approaches him, smiling warmly and calming him down.
0:05 – 0:08 | Magical Treatment: The Doctor waves his hands (casting a spell), and magical sparks swirl around them in the colors of the Italian flag (green, white, red). The fallen fang obediently flies back to its rightful place, and all the other darkened teeth and the black fang are instantly cleaned, becoming crystal white, healthy, and shiny.
0:08 – 0:10 | Triumph: The pain is gone. The wolf cub proudly straightens his back, adjusts his wreath, gives a dazzling smile with a sparkle ("ding") and makes a satisfied gesture with his hands 🤌. The animation smoothly fades out.
6. Criteria for Successful Outcome:
Provision of character options/sketches at the modeling stage for approval.
Minimal weight of the final files (the video should not slow down the website loading).
Smooth, lively animation and expressions of the characters.
Strict adherence to frame centering for mobile layout.
