Development of a Web API for generating realistic 3D avatars
445 USD We are looking for a developer to create a 3D avatar generation service based on user parameters and photos. The avatar should include a realistic face and body, combined into a single 3D model.
🔹 What needs to be implemented:
Backend (Web API)
- API for receiving data from the user (gender, height, weight, face photo).
- Integration with services for body generation (for example, Meshcapade).
- Face generation based on a photo and merging with the body (for example, via MetaHuman API).
- Model preparation (optionally using Blender API).
- Sending the finished 3D model to the client in a convenient format (GLB, FBX).
Frontend (React + 3D graphics)
- Displaying the 3D avatar in the browser.
- Ability to rotate, change poses, and add animations.
- Integration with Web API for uploading models.
🔹 Possible technologies:
✅ Backend: Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) or C# (.NET Web API).
✅ 3D API: Meshcapade, MetaHuman, Mixamo (animations).
✅ Frontend: React, Three.js (React Three Fiber), WebGL/WebGPU.
✅ 3D model formats: GLB, FBX.
🔹 Who we are looking for:
- An experienced developer capable of implementing a Web API for processing 3D avatars.
- A person who knows how to work with 3D graphics and integrate third-party APIs.
- Experience with Blender API or similar will be a plus.
The work will be done in several stages, payment only through the exchange and only for completed work (if you charge hourly, do not waste my or your time).
