Record YouTube videos and create YouTube Shorts clips

We’re building a simple Chrome extension that adds a clear, visible timer and in-call notifications to Google Meet. It does not record audio or video and doesn’t “listen” to calls — it’s just a timer that helps teams and freelancers keep meetings calm, focused, and on time. The tool keeps improving, but the idea stays the same: make time visible and remove the awkwardness around “let’s wrap up.”

Goal: create a small set of straightforward videos that show humanly and without hype how the timer fits into real online meetings and why it makes finishing on time easier.

What you’ll deliver

• 5 short videos (60–120 sec each)
  Format: simple “overview + quick demo” - no heavy creativity needed. Plain, clear visuals and voiceover.

• 7 YouTube Shorts (15-45 sec, 9:16)
   Cut-downs from the 5 main videos (we’ll guide which moments to clip).
  
  

We’ll use these on YouTube to explain the tool in simple terms and encourage viewers to try it.

Who we’re speaking to (audience)

Team leads, project managers, agencies, consultants, freelancers, and Google Workspace admins - anyone who runs frequent Google Meet calls and values a clear pace without acting like a “time cop.”

How we’ll judge success 

• Speed, professional quality, and ease of communication (top priorities).

• Clean voice and screen capture, readable interface, accurate adherence to script and specs, and compliant formats.

• A clear, human message: what it is, who it’s for, and why it helps - no fluff.
  
  

Production specs

• Interface language on screen: English.

• Voiceover: we provide the script; your voice or AI voice is fine and must be clean and natural.

• Subtitles: show the video title as the first subtitle at the start

• Resolution & fps: 1080p, 25–30 fps.

• Aspect ratios: YouTube = 16:9; Shorts = 9:16.

• Style: concise, neutral, easy to follow; no heavy graphics.

• Privacy note to reflect in tone: it’s only a timer; no audio/video recording.
  
  

Workflow

1. We share the detailed brief: scripts, timing, references, icon/logo.

2. You produce 1 pilot video  -  quick feedback.

3. You deliver the remaining 4 videos + 7 Shorts.

4. One round of final edits per video.
