Creation of a 3D model of a photo frame sized 17x17 cm in Bambu Studio for 3D printing on a Bambu Lab printer. The frame should be styled to look like wood, black in color, with a texture that mimics wood grains.
Technical requirements:
• External size of the frame: 17x17 cm
• Height of the frame: 1 cm
• Internal cutout: 15x15 cm
• Design of the cutout: A through hole with a depth of 4 mm, after which the frame should be filled, forming a protrusion.
• Material: Black PLA with a wood-like texture.
Additional elements:
• Mounting: Provide holes on the back of the frame for wall mounting (various options will be discussed).
• Text plaque: Develop a removable plaque with text, for example, the name of a city or any other text, as shown in the example. The plaque should be customizable in size and text - a .3mf project with variable text from Bambulab settings is required. The plaque will always be mounted at a 45-degree angle on the frame (see fig. 3) - design a groove in the frame and a "click" in the plaque for fitting in the center of one side of the frame.
Style and design:
• Texture: Imitation of wood grains, which will give the frame a wooden aesthetic.
Result:
• Completed 3D model in a format suitable for 3D printing - 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.16 mm layer height.
• Recommendations for optimal printing settings on the Bambu Lab printer.
Examples:
1. Overall appearance of the frame: Size and main structure (see first photo).
2. Wood texture: Black frame with wood grains (see second photo).
3. Placement of the plaque: Plaque with text at the bottom of the frame (see third photo).
