Urgent order
Task description:
A designer/layout artist is needed to create a modern, professional, and sensitive A5 format brochure consisting of 16 pages. The theme of the brochure: veterans, mental health, therapeutic support, group ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
The material is aimed at veterans who may consider participating in a therapeutic program. Therefore, the design should not be promotional or “medically cold,” but clear, human, dignified, and visually calm.
Tasks to be completed:
• develop an overall design concept for the brochure;
• design the cover;
• layout 16 A5 pages;
• select or style visual elements according to the theme;
• design diagrams, blocks, lists, headings, quotes/highlights;
• prepare the layout for print and electronic use;
• if necessary, suggest solutions for illustrating group therapy on the cover.
Visual style:
A modern, clean, structured design is needed. It is important to convey trust, safety, professionalism, and respect for veterans' experiences.
Aggressive military aesthetics, excessive dramatization, clichéd images of trauma, dark “heavy” decisions, or overly promotional wellness styles are not desired. The design should help present a complex topic calmly and without overwhelming the reader.
Materials to be provided:
• text of the brochure in Word;
• logos/branding of organizations (three logos);
• examples of possible styles (initial layout development, previous communications);
• some photos for illustrations;
• a separate diagram for the page with the program structure that needs to be visualized.
Technical requirements:
• format: A5;
• volume: 16 pages;
• print preparation: PDF, CMYK, 300 dpi, with bleed;
• electronic version: PDF for online distribution;
• it is preferable to also provide the source file: InDesign / Figma / Illustrator or another agreed format;
• all fonts, images, and graphic elements must be legally usable.
Expected results:
• a ready layout of the brochure for print;
• PDF version for online distribution;
• source files;
• if necessary — 1–2 rounds of revisions after the first layout.
Important:
I am looking for a performer who can work with sensitive social and medical-psychological topics. Not just a nice layout is needed, but a thoughtful visual solution that supports the content, does not simplify the topic, and does not create unnecessary emotional tension for the reader.
In your response, please indicate:
• examples of similar works: brochures, booklets, social or medical materials;
• which program you work in;
• estimated completion time;
• what exactly is included in your price;
• whether you can help with illustrations or photo styling.
