Development / improvement of the Blackjack game on Next.js
491 USD There is a basic implementation of Blackjack in Next.js. It is necessary to:
Complete the betting logic.
Add side bets (Perfect Pairs, 21+3).
Implement the betting flow (Pre-bet → After bet → Post-round).
Link to the player's balance.
Add dynamic buttons and achievements.
Functionality to be implemented
1. Core Layout
Top panel: balance, wallet, profile, notifications.
Central area:
Main bet (large circle for the main bet).
Side bets (“PP” and “21+3”).
Bottom area: set of chips ($0.01 → $50).
Action buttons during the game: Hit, Stand, Split, Double.
Bet button (yellow):
In demo → Free Play.
When selecting chips → shows the bet amount.
2. Chip Selection
Click mode – the player clicks a chip, it becomes active.
Slider mode – horizontal slider, the active chip is highlighted.
3. Betting Rules
Main bet → mandatory.
Side bets can be placed only after the main bet.
Balance is deducted after confirming the bet.
4. Betting Flow
Pre-Bet State:
“PLACE BET TO START”.
Only chip selection is available.
After Bet is Placed:
Chips are secured.
Button → Bet (yellow).
Buttons appear:
Back (remove the last chip).
Clear (X) – clear all bets.
Double (2x) – double the bet.
Post-Round State:
The Rebet button remains.
When clicked → it turns into Double (repeat the last bet ×2).
5. Side Bets UI
Tab Sidebets under the betting field.
Options: Perfect Pairs (PP), 21+3.
Multipliers:
½ (half of the main bet).
2x (double the main bet).
Max (maximum allowable bet).
6. Achievements
Panel Gameplay Achievements above the controls.
Examples:
“Win 5 blackjacks in a row”.
“Make a split and win”.
Should update in real-time via the backend.
7. Technical Requirements
Next.js + React (existing project).
Use TypeScript (if already available).
Game state managed through React state / Zustand / Redux (choice).
Balance and bets → integration with the backend (via API).
Code must be component-based and clean.
