Development of engineering drawings and 3D model (.STEP) for CNC milling

Project Description

Based on the provided schematic drawings of the product, it is necessary to develop:

1. Engineering drawings, which serve as a complete basis for building a 3D model.

2. 3D model in .STEP format, suitable for CNC milling without modifications.

The drawings contain the main dimensions and views (top, bottom, side, section).

Requirements for Drawings

The drawings must be engineered and unambiguous.

Mandatory:

• a complete set of dimensions sufficient for creating a 3D model;

• all angles, transitions, chamfers, and radii must be designed and measured;

• absence of sharp or undefined transitions;

• all holes clearly marked (smooth / threaded, M6, M10);

• specified thicknesses, steps, levels;

• units of measurement — mm.

Format of drawings: PDF

Requirements for 3D Model

• format: .STEP (AP203 or AP214);

• one closed solid model;

• full compliance with the drawings;

• correct geometry for CAM / CNC milling.

Important

• if any dimension or geometry raises doubts — mandatory agreement before completing the work;

• arbitrary engineering decisions are prohibited without agreement.

Work Result

• engineering drawings (PDF);

• 3D model (.STEP). 

Acceptance criterion:

STEP file can be transferred to the CNC workshop without any edits

Product description and its purpose:

The product is a welding fixture designed for precise positioning and fixation of parts made from a profile pipe 35x35x2mm during welding together.

The fixture provides:

- stable geometry of the joint during welding;

- repeatability of the position of parts;

- preservation of angles and mutual arrangement of elements;

- reduction of deformations during the welding process.

Material of the product

The material used is aluminum alloy D16.

PDF files of the drawings of the profile pipe parts will be provided in private correspondence... after the project executor is selected....
