Job Description:
It is necessary to create a macro that automatically loads data from .txt file, processes it according to the specified parameters, and generates tables for analyzing the results.
Calculations are performed for three financial strategies:
- Simple
- Complex without profit withdrawal
- Complex with profit withdrawal and reinvestment
Macro Functionality:
- Loading input data from .txt file.
- Automatic calculation of deposit, profit/loss, commission, reinvestment points.
- Ability to select testing parameters (deposit, risk, number of trades, entry interval).
- Generation of reports for the selected strategy or for two strategies simultaneously.
- Use of the "tail trimming" algorithm – considering only relevant trades for the accuracy of the final data.
- Setting iterations for optimizing parameters.
Additionally:
🔹 All parameters are set in a separate Excel sheet.
🔹 Results are displayed in formatted tables on separate tabs.
🔹 Mandatory verification of calculation accuracy after implementation.
Requirements for the Performer:
✅ Experience in developing VBA macros for Excel.
✅ Understanding of financial calculations and working with deposits.
✅ Ability to optimize code for fast processing of large data arrays (up to 400,000 rows).
