About the project:
There is a publicly published application with an active audience.
Documentation for the project is absent. There is code.
The goal of the audit is to obtain an objective assessment of the state of the codebase, architecture, and code quality before taking the project for support and development.
Tasks for the specialist(s):
Conduct an analysis of the application's source code.
Provide an assessment of:
The quality and cleanliness of the code.
Architectural solutions.
Potential security issues.
Possible areas for performance optimization.
Overall maintainability and scalability of the codebase.
Prepare a detailed report in a readable format (e.g., PDF document) with conclusions, a list of identified issues, recommendations for their resolution, and prioritization.
Technologies:
iOS: Swift
Android: Kotlin
Ideal candidate:
Has significant experience in development with Swift or Kotlin. (This could be two different developers)
Has practical experience in conducting code reviews and technical audits.
Capable of clearly and structurally expressing their thoughts in writing.
Collaboration terms:
For the first stage, only the audit and report are needed.
After a successful audit and project acceptance, there are prospects for long-term collaboration for support and development of the application.
There are two possible options: one specialist who can conduct the audit for both platforms, or two separate specialists (iOS and Android).
