Mobile 2D online game with real-time 1v1 battles between players. The project involves using socket.io for instant transmission of game events and organizing an online chat for convenient communication between participants. A reliable and scalable backend is required to ensure stable server operation under high load.
List of tasks:
Development and support of the server side of the project on Nest.js.
Implementation of game logic, as well as matchmaking logic and conducting real-time 1v1 battles, using socket.io to ensure instant communication during battles and the operation of the online chat.
Creation and documentation of an API for managing game sessions, matchmaking, and synchronizing game state.
Integration with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.) for storing information about players and game states.
Optimization of server performance and ensuring system scalability.
Close interaction with the development team throughout the project development.
Requirements for you:
Deep knowledge and experience in development on Nest.js (at least 2 years).
Experience with REST API, WebSocket, socket.io, and implementing real-time communications in projects.
Experience in developing server applications, primarily in the field of online games or real-time systems.
Confident knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and experience in optimizing them for high loads.
Experience with queue systems and tools for scaling applications will be an advantage.
Ability to understand the logic of game processes and real-time data synchronization.
Willingness to dedicate additional working hours on weekends to launch the project within a tight timeframe.

Payment terms:
