- Check the device status (health check) — Regularly send device status data to the server (once per minute).
- Forward SMS to the API — Upon receiving an SMS, forward it to the server with the specified parameters (sender's number, message text, receipt time, etc.).
- Error handling — Implement proper handling of server unavailability or incorrect data.
- Logging — Maintain logs for successful and unsuccessful requests.
- Flexibility — Allow the API token to be changed without restarting the client.
