I need to create a page on the Wix website with a Google map and partner markers. 1. There are many partners, more than 100. 2. They are located in different cities of Ukraine. 3. It is necessary to place a filter on the page for cities and partners. When selecting a city, the map focuses on that city and displays markers of all partners in that city. General Technical Specification
Goal:
Implementation of a page on the Wix website with an interactive Google Maps displaying partner markers. Providing the ability to filter partners by cities and specific partners.
1. Google Maps Integration:
- Add an HTML iFrame with Google Maps to the page.
- Configure an API key for Google Maps.
2. Database:
- Create a database in Corvid by Wix to store partner data (name, address, city, coordinates).
- Develop an interface for easy addition and updating of data in the database.
3. Filtering Functionality:
- Implement UI elements for selecting a city and partner (dropdown lists).
- Program the logic for filtering data based on the selected city or partner.
- Ensure dynamic updating of the map depending on the user's selection.
4. Interaction with Google Maps API:
- Write JavaScript code to send requests to the Google Maps API and display markers on the map.
- Manage the map scale to focus on the selected city or partner.
