Hello! I am looking for a reliable and professional developer for long-term collaboration. I have 2 active online stores on the WordPress platform that require technical maintenance, prompt bug fixes, and continuous improvement. What needs to be done: Technical support: regular checks of website functionality, updating plugins and themes, ensuring stable operation. Bug fixing: prompt identification and resolution of bugs (layout, plugin conflicts, mobile display issues, etc.). Functionality development: making changes to the website structure, setting up integrations (CRM, payments, shipping), optimizing loading speed. Content work: assistance in formatting text, setting up new product cards or sections (based on provided materials). Responsiveness: it is important that you can quickly respond to assigned tasks and meet established deadlines. Candidate requirements: Experience with WordPress — at least 2 years (professional mastery of CMS). Confident knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Experience with WooCommerce (mandatory). Ability to work with theme code (not just through builders), understanding of SEO optimization principles for the technical part of the site. Responsibility, attention to detail. How we will work: Tasks will be assigned as needed. We value a systematic approach, so it is important to first assess the complexity of the task, agree on deadlines, and perform the work qualitatively. Please, when responding to the vacancy, answer the following questions: Briefly describe your experience with WordPress and WooCommerce. Provide links to examples of websites you have supported or developed. Describe your approach to fixing critical bugs on a "live" site. How do you usually update plugins and the WordPress core on working sites? What plugins do you typically use for store security and protection against spam/hacks? I look forward to your proposals!
Welcome! We are looking for an experienced performer (or a small team) for cosmetic UI/UX redesign and bug fixing on the working corporate website of a logistics company. No global overhaul — just a neat "touch-up" of the interface and methodically addressing the list of issues. Website: https://shippingfreightcom.com CMS: WordPress (current version) About the ProjectThe website of an international logistics company (sea, air, and road transport, customs clearance). The site is operational and filled with content — we need not a new site, but a neat cosmetic update of the interface and fixing existing bugs. The structure of the pages, content, and CMS will remain unchanged.Scope of Work1. Cosmetic UI/UX Redesign (without new layouts) Updating typography: a unified system of header and text sizes, line spacing, readability. Organizing margins and grid: uniform section paddings, alignment of blocks on all pages. Improving text and button contrast (benchmark — WCAG AA). Standardizing buttons, forms, hover states to a single style (CTAs: "Get Started", "Book a Call", "Get a Quote", etc.). Tidying up the homepage A neater appearance for the cookie banner (so it does not cover content). Checking and refining the mobile version (responsiveness of menus, forms, tables, footer). Edits are agreed upon with screenshots/demos before publication.2. Audit and Bug Fixing The performer conducts their own audit of the site (desktop + mobile, major browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and compiles a list of identified issues. The client has a ready list of known issues — a detailed list will be provided to the selected performer after work begins. General areas of work (without detailing): fixing factual and content inconsistencies on pages; fixing broken links, removing duplicate pages, setting up redirects; resolving image loading issues (lazy load); refining forms: clear field validation, simplifying filling out, convenient dropdowns; eliminating content duplication and excessive page overload; correcting language inconsistencies on the site and refining the localization of the NL version; improving accessibility (alt tags, contrast) and basic SEO technical fixes; minor layout defects on various pages and in the mobile version.3. Technical Requirements Work is performed on WordPress: edits in the child theme / custom styles, without "hardcoding" into plugin files and the parent theme. Do not break SEO: URL, meta tags, H1–H2 headers, content — unchanged (except for agreed edits).Access and Support from Our Side Access to the WordPress admin panel (and if needed, FTP/hosting) will be provided to the selected performer. Our team includes an IT administrator who will collaborate with the performer on various issues as needed: access, hosting, DNS, backups, staging, technical consultations regarding infrastructure.
