Most likely, the attackers left backdoors in the files, so simply updating the Joomla version may not help. I will start with a backup of the site and the database, then search for and remove the deface and suspicious files (info.php, adminer.php, archives, etc.) in the root and admin area, and check the admin users. Next, I will update Joomla, SP Page Builder (if necessary, I will reinstall from a clean official distribution), the template, and all extensions, and remove unused components. Finally, I will change the passwords for cPanel/FTP/Database/admin area and clear the Joomla cache and optimizers.
