VPN Client for Android
Task Description:
It is required to develop a basic prototype of an Android application for a VPN client that will use Xray-core as the core. The application should include minimal functionality for connecting and disconnecting from the VPN server.
Technical Requirements:
Main Functionality:
- Button to connect to the VPN server.
- Button to disconnect from the VPN server.
- Display connection status (connected/disconnected).
Xray-core:
- Use the precompiled binary file of Xray-core.
- https://github.com/XTLS/Xray-core/releases/tag/v24.12.31
- The Xray-core binary file must be placed in the application folder.
Application Functionality:
- Work with the VLESS protocol and WebSocket (TLS).
- The
config.jsonfile for connecting to the server will be provided. The configuration file must be copied from theassetsfolder to thefilesDirupon application launch. - Logs of Xray-core operation (error and status output) must be available in Logcat for debugging.
Sample UI:
- Simple interface with two buttons: "Connect" and "Disconnect".
- Text field to display the current status.
Development:
- Use the Kotlin programming language.
- Minimum Android version: API 24 (Android 7.0).
- The code must be structured, clean, and easily maintainable.
