Hello! We are looking for a WordPress/WooCommerce developer for quick and precise setup of an online store for camping, tourism, tactical gear, and self-sufficiency products. Current state of the site: A clean WordPress is installed on the hosting. The licensed WoodMart theme has been deployed with the activated demo template Marketplace (demo example: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/demo-marketplace/demo/marketplace/). Note: since the demo template is designed for a marketplace (multi-vendor), this functionality (like Dokan) needs to be disabled to create a classic retail online store (B2C). What specifically needs to be done (Scope of work): 1. Cleaning and optimizing the WoodMart theme Remove/hide unnecessary demo content, unwanted test products, extra pages, and unused plugins that come with the marketplace bundle. Simplify the homepage: keep the main banner/slider, a nice category grid, a carousel with popular products, and advantage blocks. Remove all unnecessary clutter. Set up the Header and Footer (replace demo logos with placeholders for our brand, configure contacts, remove unnecessary navigation links). 2. Creating the category structure and menu (Category tree provided) Need to create in WooCommerce and display in the main menu such a category structure (about 8 main categories and their subcategories). 3. Setting up product import (XML feed) Configure the import plugin (for example, WP All Import or a similar convenient tool) for automatic loading of products from the supplier's XML file. Set up field mapping: name, SKU, price, description, photos, stock (availability), product specifications/attributes. Set up rules for distributing products into created categories (or using filters during import). Product attributes must be imported correctly for filtering to work in the sidebar of the catalog. Auto-updating of stock and price updates must work. A total of 2300 products, the feed updates every 2 hours. 4. Setting up the checkout process Simplify the order form as much as possible: remove unnecessary fields (postal code, region, company name, second address, etc.). A developer is needed with experience specifically in CS-Cart Multivendor for two related modifications on an existing online store. Task 1 - broken product photos. On the pages of some products, they do not display. Some photos show a "broken" image icon. Self-diagnosis revealed two different types of causes: The original photo exists on the server, but a specific non-standard (non-square) size needed for full-screen viewing of the photo is not generated (this function is from the third-party module "AB: Advanced Image Viewers," AlexBranding). Square sizes of the same photos are generated without problems. The original photo is completely absent on the server - a specific example and link will be provided upon response. Task 2 - warming up the cache of new products. The site automatically parses and adds new products every night (a separate cron script). Page caching is already set up and working, the warming of the main page and categories has already been done - but the pages of the new products themselves are still not warmed up immediately after import, so the first real buyer who opens a new product directly experiences slow "cold" loading. It is necessary to add automatic warming (curl/wget for the list of new products) immediately after the completion of the nightly import. All necessary access will be provided to you after selection. Work format: two separate stages with separate or joint payment for each task. First, diagnostics/analysis with written confirmation of the approach for each task, then implementation. We are a custom printing production on clothing and DTF transfers. We use a specialized site on WooCommerce, where the cost of products (for example, custom film transfers) is often calculated per square inch or depends on the volume and does not have a fixed price per unit, but there are also physical products. We need an experienced specialist in GTM/GA4 to fix our tracking architecture and replace the current temporary solutions with full-fledged e-commerce tracking. Current tracking issues that need to be fixed: Broken "Add to Cart": The current setup is a temporary solution (a workaround), where the add_to_cart event triggers during the loading of the view_cart page, rather than upon the actual click of the button. Missing/Incorrect values: E-commerce data is not being sent properly (Data Layer sends false for e-commerce, and the product prices are displayed incorrectly, for example, 0.03 CAD instead of the dynamically calculated price). Bug with quantity in Meta Ads: Meta Pixel misinterprets our custom sizes. If a customer buys one print of 30x30 cm, Meta currently records this as 900 conversions instead of 1 unit of product. Language and Email synchronization: English-speaking users add products to the cart but receive automated abandoned cart emails in French. Lost conversions: Some successful purchases do not trigger the final conversion tags on the site. Scope of work and expected results: Data Layer optimization: Implement (or provide exact code for our developer) a reliable Data Layer that captures the correct dynamically calculated price (value) and actual product quantity (quantity), isolating print sizes into a custom parameter. GA4 e-commerce tracking: Fix the add_to_cart and purchase events to trigger exclusively on user action with accurate e-commerce array data. Google Ads: Fix the "Purchase" conversion tracking to ensure accurate ROAS calculation based on the actual cart value. Meta Ads Pixel and CAPI: Fix the purchase and add_to_cart tags so that Meta tracks 1 physical product as 1 conversion. Set up Meta Conversions API for greater accuracy. Audience creation: Create custom remarketing audiences in GA4 and Google Ads based on specific products and user language (FR and ENG). Fixing Email marketing triggers: Ensure that the active user language parameter (FR/ENG) is correctly passed through GTM to our email marketing platform for proper language flow.
