    xampp на linux быстрее  работает чем на windows


    mariadb  это и есть   последняя версия ,

    Если  нужна  скорость  то  переходить  на  nginx  . 

    Если  скачивать  xampp то  с  sourceforge 


    Ничего  заменять не  нужно  ,  нужно  правильно  поставить  задание  ,

    да, в данном  случае линукс   не подходит  - сборка сделана с  конкретной  цельюи нужна  именно в  таком виде 

    школота  как  всегда  со  своими понтами - линукс  круто виндовс отстой.

    Удивляюсь  что еще  никто  про  опенсервер не  написал.
