The task:
Reduce the transaction cost and make Facebook profitable.Before the customer’s collaboration began, advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads were launched.However, the ROAS was 87.81%, that is, advertising was damaging.First of all, we assessed the effectiveness of previous campaigns.Indicators from the age of users, their physical location and to the devices from which they visit the site have been analyzed.After that, they switched to targeted audiences.The most efficiently worked similar audiences on users who were on the site (look-alike).So we decided to stop using these audiences, namely look-alike 1% and look-alike 2%.By combining performance data and audience, completely new campaigns have been launched.A month after the start of the campaign, we saw that the work was done wrong.Facebook is in a small plus.The profitability index of advertising investments (ROAS) was 129%.That is, every penny invested in advertising was $1.29.have arrived.An important point is that the customer has an analytics so set that in the reports we get the final data on the profit rather than on the income.Among the tested audiences, good results were shown by look-alike audiences from “users who made a purchase on the site for a certain amount.”The test results showed that such audiences allow to receive more transactions with a lower purchase price.After the tests, the decision was made to make such audiences major.As of February 2019, the ROAS of Facebook was 243.31%, and the cost of monthly advertising costs compared to September 2018 decreased by 54.18%.The result:
