A 3D model of a candle holder glass with a volume of approximately 8.5 oz (~250 ml) needs to be created based on the provided photos.
Overall external dimensions including the lid: diameter ~90 mm, height ~90 mm.
The shape and proportions must closely match the sample in the photo, even if this means changing the internal dimensions from the estimated values.
The outer surface of the glass has decorative ribs that should be modeled separately from the main wall, so that the thickness of the main wall can be changed independently.
Estimated dimensions of the glass (without lid):
Inner diameter: approximately 70 mm (depends on proportions)
Inner height: approximately 65 mm (depends on proportions)
Thickness of the main wall (without ribs): 8 mm
Thickness of the bottom: 12 mm
Height of the glass without lid: approximately 77 mm (depending on design)
Edges – with a slight rounding (radius ≥ 2 mm) inside and outside.
Light taper (1–2°) for easy removal from the mold.
Model requirements:
The model must be watertight, without holes and self-intersections.
Print format: STL (ready for slicing).
Additionally provide the original file in the program in which the model was created (e.g., STEP, SLDPRT, Fusion 360, Blender, etc.).
The model must be in natural proportions, without a fixed scale — so that the size can be changed before printing.
All dimensions in millimeters.
No textures or colors (only geometry).
Additionally:
The model should be optimized for 3D printing (FDM or SLA/DLP) and casting in gypsum.
Surfaces – clean, without unnecessary polygons.
The internal cavity (shell) should be created as a separate operation with a specified thickness.
Ribs should be made as a separate outer layer, so that the thickness of the main wall can be changed independently.
The lid can be modeled separately, ensuring a precise fit to the glass.
